Original watercolor and gouache on paper of a flying Tropeognathus spitting into a bathroom sink, signed ('McTeague') at lower right, 33 x 48 cm, matted and framed to 500 x 645 mm. Provenance: Every Picture Tells a Story, c.2004. Mark Teague co-authored the How Do Dinosaurs...? series with Jane Yolen beginning in 2000 with How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight? This illustration is from 2003's How Do Dinosaurs Get Well Soon? and shows a grumpy Troeognathus spitting out his medicine in the sink as a bespectacled father reads the bottle's label.
