EIGHT SILVER-PLATED NAPKIN RINGS ON CHAIRS AND STOOLS America, late 19th century, Mostly unsigned group includes one book-form napkin holder mounted on a slender easel wrapped with ivy; three cylindrical napkin rings soldered to chairs made of twigs; and four napkin rings on cross-braced stools, one with a small bowl projecting from top, and two with mounts for flanged salt and pepper containers, one with pair of open bowls, and one with caster marked Taunton Silver Plate Co. (Taunton, Massachusetts, c. 1835-74). Largest wd. 5 1/4, dp. 2, ht. 3 1/8 in. Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION: Good.
