The present example Reference 3700/1 is an early version of the 18k gold 'Jumbo' Nautilus mode, noted for its 42mm case width and and flat bezel. The watch is powered by the self-winding Calibre 28-255C movement with an 18k gold rotor and power reserve of 48 hours. Although the Reference 3700/1 was discontinued and then re-introduced in 2006, the late 1970-1980's versions are considered a must-have 'holy grail' for any discerning collector.
