UTAGAWA HIROSHIGE (1797-1858) Edo period (1615-1868), one dated 1855 and one circa 1850-1851 Two landscape prints: the first an oban tate-e of Fujikawa, sanchu no sato kyumei Miyakoyama (Fujikawa: Mountain Village, formerly Called Mount Miyako) from the series Gojusantsugi meisho zue (Famous Sights of the 53 Stations), published by Tsutaya Kichizo, censor's seal aratame, date seal Rabbit 7 (1855), signed Hiroshige hitsu, 36.4cm x 23.9cm (14 5/16in x 9 3/8in); the second a chuban yoko-e of Mariko, Meibutsu tororojiru, Utsu no yama enbo (Mariko: Famous Yam Soup and Distant View of Mount Utsu) from the series Tokaido gojusantsugi (The Fifty-three Stations on the Tokaido Road), published by Tsutaya Kichizo, with two censors' seals Hama and Kinugasa, signed Hiroshige ga, 17.9cm x 25.3cm (7 1/16in x 10in); each in a card mount.
