New England Dragoon Pistol, c. 1770-1780. 8 in., .62 caliber barrel with Tower of London private proof marks and ring decoration at the breech; single bridle flat lock plate marked 'GRICE' below the pan; walnut stock; brass furniture including a simple butt cap with pointed rear, sheet brass trigger guard with ball finial, and a large spoon-shaped rammer entry pipe, wood rammer. Overall lg. 13 in. Condition: Iron with deep brown patination; stock with staining and blemishes, minor wood loss along barrel; steel refaced with some old loss to face.
