Boîte en émail et métal doré, XVIIIe siècle An enamel and gilt mounted portrait box, 18thcentury circle of Daniel Welper (French, 1729-1780) The enamel exterior of the box is painted with polychrome scenes of figures in Arcadian landscapes in a soft toned palet, mounted in a gilt metal mount picked out with a rococo flower thumbpiece, height 3.8cm, length 8cm, diameter 6.5cm.
