Gobelet à jambe en verre gravé, Pays-Bas, deuxième quart XVIIIe siècle Dutch engraved armorial goblet, second quarter 18th century The glass Thuringian, the tall tapering bowl with the crowned Dutch Lion holing a bundle of seven arrows, surrounded by the crowned coats of arms of each of the Seven United Provinces, flanked by palm fronds, the base cut with engrailed thumbnail facets, the stem with a faceted shoulder knop between collars, over a faceted inverted baluster, the domed foot cut with a rosette underneath, 20.5cm high Footnotes: Provenance: With Helene Brück Kunsthandel, 31 May 1988 Christian von Reitzenstein Collection A very similar goblet is illustrated by Brigitte Klesse, Glassammlung Helfried Krug, Vol.2, 1973, no.672.
