Bol à thé et soucoupe en porcelaine de Meissen, vers 1735-40 A Meissen teabowl and saucer, circa 1735-40 Each painted with European landscape scenes within a gilt scrollwork cartouche filled with Böttger lustre and edged with iron-red and purple scrollwork, the teabowl with two harbour scenes and the saucer with figures and buildings by a river, gilt scrollwork borders to the rims, sprigs of indianische Blumen to the reverse of the saucer and inside of the teabowl crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, impressed Dreher's marks of one or two asterisks, gilt numeral 40. to both (very minor flaking to edge of gilt rims) (2), crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, gilt numeral 40., impressed Dreher's mark For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
