A Louis XV and later gilt bronze mounted boulle bracket clock Case topped with a Chinoiserie figure holding a parasol Gilt ormolu mounts with a roaring dragon motif on the front door. Boulle decoration throughout. Two glass observation windows on the sides. Dial is a 19th-century replacement, set atop what appears to be the original dial. 18th-century minute numerals partially visible. Decorative gilt hands. Double fusee movement, likely mid-19th century. Anchor recoil escapement with shaped plates. Strikes the hours on a bell mounted to the backplate. 22 1/2in high; 11in wide.
