A 16-Bore Flintlock Coastguard Pistol Early 19th Century With plain barrel and tang, the former with sighting flat, flat bevelled lock (some old pitting, cock retaining screw and safety-catch replaced) with 'GR' crowned, figured full stock (repaired behind the tang, in front of the lock, and on one side at the barrel-bolt) and rounded butt (toe chipped) with Board of Ordnance ownership mark behind the tail of the lock, and crowned 'P' mark on the side-flat, regulation brass mounts including oval butt-cap with steel suspension loop, and stirrup ramrod (old pitting) 11.4 cm. barrel This lot is subject to the following lot symbols: * * VAT on imported items at a preferential rate of 5% on Hammer Price and the prevailing rate on Buyer's Premium.
