A German (Suhl) 15-Bore Flintlock Holster Pistol Circa 1700 With three-stage barrel, breech cut with longitudinal ribs along the top and struck with Suhl marks on the left flats (Neue Støckel pp. 1706-1707), plain tang, border engraved rounded lock and cock decorated with foliage, the former struck with maker's mark on the inside (similar to Neue Støckel 4137), figured full stock (filled old worming) with apron around the barrel tang, steel mounts comprising recurved rounded side-plate, large foliate engraved escutcheon, spurred pommel with stepped rounded cap centred on a threaded screw, trigger-guard with graduated finial, baluster ramrod-pipes, and later wooden ramrod (some old rust patination) 33.8 cm. barrel For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
