A BLUE AND WHITE JAR AND TWO DISHES Ming dynasty Comprising a lobed blue and white jar surmounted by a short cylindrical neck decorated with a key-fret band, decorated around the body with leafy vines bearing melons between two lappet borders; a blue and white saucer dish with a foliate rim, painted to the centre with a bird perching on a tree branch while the other at the tip of a rockwork, with a full moon or sun to the upper left, the base inscribed with a six-character Chenghua mark; and a blue and white square dish painted to the centre with a circular panel enclosing a hare looking backward to floral and foliate sprays of chrysanthemum, the based inscribed with a six-character Xuande mark The jar: 15cm (5 7/8in) high. Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:
Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
