The hilt with foliate chased quillons, silver chain connecting to a lion's head pommel, later green-dyed composite or bone grip; curved single-edge blade with false edge at the tip, single narrow and single wide fullers; black leather scabbard with silver throat and tip. Blade lg. 25 3/4 in., Overall lg. 31 3/8 in. Condition: Silver toned to gray, grip is replaced; blade is mostly bright with scattered areas of gray toning, blade edge has evidence of old resharpening; scabbard has areas of surface loss, silver mounts tarnished.
