A WALTHER/SPREEWERKE MODEL P.38 SEMI AUTOMATIC PISTOL, c. 1943-44. Serial number 5680x, 9mm caliber, blued steel barrel, slide and frame, the slide marked 'P.38' and 'cyq' with serial number, slide and frame with eagle over '88' waffenampt markings, brown plastic grips, single P.38 magazine with eagle '359' waffenamt on the back, all visible serial numbers match. Barrel lg. 5, overall lg. 8 1/2 in. **Successful bidder must arrange pickup/transfer through a federal firearms licensee.** **With the enactment of new Massachusetts firearms legislation on October 2, 2024, transfers of ALL post-1898 firearms within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, INCLUDING curio & relic firearms, MUST be processed through a federal firearms dealer. C&R holders from other states must arrange for C&R firearms purchases to be shipped. Condition: Excellent overall condition with minor wear to the bluing at the muzzle and sharp edges of the slide and frame, scattered minor handling blemishes, upper rear corner of the right grip has a small loss, slightly frosty bore with sharp rifling, action functions properly.
