TWO GEM-SET PENDANTS AND DIAMOND-SET BANGLE 1st: Ruby, pearl and diamond pendant, circa 1900 Rose and brilliant-cut diamonds Circular-cut rubies Seed pearls White enamel One seed pearl deficient Lengths: 4.2cm pendant, 41.0cm chain 2nd: Gem-set heart-shaped pendant Suffragette colours Heart-shaped amethyst Circular-cut demantoid garnets Single and rose-cut diamonds Lengths 3.5cm 3rd: Diamond-set bangle Pencil beneath diamond-set 'LUCY' Rose-cut diamonds Inner circumference very approx. 15.7cm Cased by Child and Child Total weight approx. 29.0g (3) Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Some surface wear to the unhallmarked metal (1st: reverse of pendant testing as 13ct gold, chain testing as 18ct gold, 2nd: reverse of pendant testing as 11ct gold, 3rd: Bracelet testing as 9ct gold) 1st: Pendant with one pearl deficient, some minor loss to enamelling visible under 10x magnification. Rose-cut diamonds displaying a soft lustre, with principal diamond bright and lively. Rubies displaying a medium purplish pink hue. Clasp of chain secure. 2nd: Amethyst measuring approx. 19.0 x 17 x 9.8mm displaying a medium purple hue with good transparency. Green garnet displaying a medium green hue, diamonds displaying a soft lustre. 3rd: Some minor spots of discolouration present throughout. Pencil insert beneath diamond-set 'LUCY' mount, attached by chain. Clasp secure. Diamonds displaying a soft lustre. Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:
Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
