The vendor wore the dress that year to be presented to the Queen Mother at Buckingham Palace. Thea Porter designed her iconic 'Gipsy' dresses in the late 1960s, which typically feature a fitted, empire-line bodice, a full flowing skirt and dramatic balloon sleeves.
