TWO DIAMOND-SET BANGLES 1st: Diamond and sapphire-set bangle Hinged Circular-cut sapphires Single-cut diamonds, approx. 0.65ct total Inner circumference 15.5cm 2nd: Diamond-set bangle Hinged Single-cut diamonds approx. 1.45cts total, one diamond deficient Inner circumference very approx. 16.0cm Total weight approx. 32.5g (2) Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Some light wear to the unhallmarked metal (testing as 17-18ct gold). Both bangles stamped to interior 750 and Italian assay mark. 1st: with spots of discolouration to inner hoop. 2nd: Diamond-set bangle displaying spots of discolouration to shoulders and outer hoop, would benefit from rhodium plating. Clasps open when pulled but secured by safety latches. SAPPHIRES Displaying a opaque to transparent medium blue hue. Typical inclusions visible under 10x magnification. Nicks and abrasions visible to facet edges under 10x magnification, some eye visible. DIAMONDS Bright and lively. 2nd: One diamond deficient. Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:
Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
