Footnotes: Provenance Property from a private collection, England. Painted by Sadequain for the vendor when he lived in Islamabad, Pakistan between 1974-77. Sadequain befriended the vendor when he lived and worked in Islamabad, Pakistan, between 1974-1977. Sadequain visited the vendor who entertained him, and in return for his hospitality was persuaded to paint various works for the vendor, two of which are on offer at this auction.
