De Luze Générations Cognac Extra (1x 70cl) Fill Level: into neck Label: engraved labelling Packaging: in original wooden presentation case Alcohol content: no spirit strength or capacity stated on labelling Notes: Distillerie Michel Boinaud SA. Grande Champagne. Bottle No. 1 of 24. Footnotes: Producer's note from 'La Part des Anges' 2014 event: First bottle of a very limited series of 24 - Générations Cognac Extra, is a tribute to Michel Boinaud and to the 24 Generations of the Boinaud family, wine growers at the Bois D'Angeac since 1640. Over the centuries they have acquired a 'savoir-faore' from the culture of the vineyard through to blending the eaux-de-vie that you will find in this bottle of De Luze Cognac closely associated to the Domaine Boinaud. Générations Cognac Extra contains some of the Boinaud's family treasures, in particular some wonderful eaux-de-vie from 1910. It is a remarkably powerful Cognac with intense flavours and an enchantingly long finish. Delicate and graceful, it offers aromas of candied fruits, fresh hazelnuts, cigar boxes and a special 'rancio' aroma, all typical characteristics of very old eaux-de-vie from our estate in Grande Champagne. This first bottle is presented in a unique oak casket made in the Domaine Boinaud estate's cooperage. Lot to be sold without reserve.
