XIAN YUQING (1895-1965) Plum Blossoms Ink and colour on paper, scroll Signed Xian Yuqing, with a dedication and two artist's seals 56.5 x 24cm (22¼ x 9⅜in) Footnotes: 冼玉清 紅梅 設色紙本 鏡心 款識： 長文一兄先生大雅教正，冼玉清寫於清心居。 鈐印：冼、冼玉 註：冼玉清，廣東南海人，生於澳門。幼入私塾，師從陳子褒。善畫，工詩，亦專治嶺南藝文誌，廣博掇拾，別樹宗派，著述豐碩，有「嶺南第一才女」之美譽。所著《碧琅軒詩集》，散原老人陳三立評其「淡雅疏朗，秀骨亭亭，不假雕飾，自饒機趣，足以推見素抱矣。」書畫則山水、花卉兼能，清雅秀麗，天趣自然。冼氏自上世紀二十年代始，先後任嶺南大學中文系教授、文物舘館長、廣東省文史館副館長等職。 For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
