A GROUP OF ELEVEN TEXTILE PANELS 19th century Comprising: a pair of panels decorated with qilin and Buddhist lions amidst bats and clouds in Peking stitch, against a couched-gold thread background; a pair of panels each embroidered with cranes and insects surrounded by rockwork and plantations on a beige background; a panel with figures amidst leafy sprays, rockwork and bats; a panel in blue Peking stitch with villas amidst trees; a panel enclosing polychrome flowers and auspicious emblems in Peking stitch; a panel with polychrome butterflies on an embroidered blue floral ground; a panel with cranes amidst clouds above villas in Peking stitch; a panel embroidered with figures on a sampan, dwelling in pavilions and riding a goat; an embroidered panel with butterflies amongst slender flower branches and scattered with lingzhi, all framed and glazed. Buyers' Premium and Charges

Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
