Three English delftware dishes, circa 1700-20 Moulded with fluted borders, painted predominantly in red, green and blue, one Bristol, probably Limekiln Lane, with a peacock among foliage additionally picked out in yellow, one London, with a Chinese landscape depicting a house on an island and a fisherman in a sampan, the last probably Bristol, with a stylised spray of flowers, 22.5-26.8cm diam (3) Footnotes: Provenance Sotheby's, 27 July 1982, lot 206 (peacock dish) With Anthony Belton (peacock and landscape dishes) Graham Slater Collection An identical dish with a chinoiserie landscape is illustrated by F H Garner, English Delftware (1948), pl.42A, where it is attributed to Lambeth.
