A DATED INSIDE-PAINTED 'QIANLONG PORTRAIT' BULBOUS GLASS BOTTLE Signed and sealed Wang Xisan and dated guimao year corresponding to 1963 Of bulbous rounded globular shape, painted after the famous Castiglione portraits of Qianlong and his consort Xiangfei, one side with the portrait of the emperor in his imperial yellow robe with descriptive title, a further inscription includes the date, signature and seals of the artist, the reverse side with a portrait of his consort in blue robe. 2 1/8in (5.3cm) high, stopper Footnotes: 癸卯年 (1963) 王習三 玻璃内畫郎世寧繪乾隆及香妃畫像鼻煙壺一件 《王習三》款 Provenance: Eugene Y.C. Buyers' Premium and Charges
