C'est en jouant avec le passage de la photo à la peinture qu'un certains nombres d'informations disparaissent et laisse place à une nouvelle image, celle de notre mémoire. Acrylique sur toile. Signée et datée 2011 au dos par l'artiste Pierre Mathéus. Format 95x130 cm. Exposé au Musée Bernard d'Agesci de Niort en 2011. Cette oeuvre sera remise avec un certificat d'authenticité de l'artiste. Original work from the 'Tabloid' series, which explores our memory of images—what to do with the images we receive, some of which leave a lasting impression while others fade away. The question arises: how do we paint these images? By playing with the transition from photograph to painting, certain pieces of information disappear, making way for a new image—one that reflects our memory. Acrylic on canvas. Signed and dated 2011 on the back by the artist Pierre Mathéus. Dimensions: 95x130 cm. Exhibited at the Bernard d'Agesci Museum in Niort in 2011.
