Volang's painting is poetic, luminous, light and deep, expressed with great sensitivity and delicacy. His colour palette is sublime and bold, making the thick layers of paint come alive and allowing the most beautiful shades to acquire the greatest expressive luminosity. The blurred outlines are treated in the manner of the impressionists, which gives his paintings a mysterious atmosphere with a subtle yet brilliant light.
