Rusudan Petviashvili (born 1968) Happiness of safety signed, inscribed and dated '08.024' (lower right) mixed media on paper 76 x 110cm (29 15/16 x 43 5/16in). Footnotes: Provenance Artist's Collection Art Gallery Noblesse Born in Tbilisi in 1968, Rusudan Petviashvili revealed her extraordinary artistic gift at just two years old, creating drawings that displayed a remarkable grasp of composition and form far beyond her years. By age six, she had already begun exhibiting professionally, captivating audiences with her singular technique. This mesmerizing approach became Petviashvili's artistic signature, drawing fascination from critics worldwide who marvelled at both her technical precision and the flowing visual poetry of her work. Growing up during the Soviet era in the Georgian SSR, she nurtured and developed her unique talents despite the political and social limitations of the time. When Georgia gained independence in the early 1990s, Petviashvili emerged as a cultural ambassador, bringing her distinctive artistic voice to international audiences. While her creative expression has since expanded into painting, sculpture, and digital art, the essence of her flowing, continuous style remains the constant thread connecting all her work. Her art consistently explores themes of connection, cultural heritage, and harmony, weaving together her Georgian roots with a universal artistic vision that speaks across cultural boundaries. The intricate patterns and fluid forms in her compositions seem to tell stories of human experience through a visual language entirely her own. Today, Rusudan Petviashvili stands among Georgia's most celebrated contemporary artists, with her works gracing prestigious galleries throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Her remarkable journey from child prodigy to internationally acclaimed master artist represents not just personal achievement, but the boundless potential of artistic vision when it flows uninhibited from an authentic and singular creative source.
