Rajesh Gogna A silver 'Ice Tea Pot' and stand Birmingham, no date letter, the final production example from the limited edition of 5 Of rectangular form, the teapot formed of two sheets of silver with a hollow reserve in the shape of a spherical teapot with spout and handle, with a brushed surface, held on a highly polished silver stand, height on stand 27.1cm, length 28.5cm, weight 58.5oz. Footnotes: This present example is the final in the limited edition of five teapots, there will not be a further example made of this teapot. Examples are within Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery Permanent Collection and Kamm Teapot Foundation Collection, USA. Biography Rajesh is an award-winning Metalwork Artist & Academic working in Design Craft and Contemporary Silver based in Leicestershire. He is the fourth generation of Goldsmith/ Silversmith in his family who creates One- Off pieces of functional and sculptural collectable art objects. Over the past two decades, Rajesh has developed an international reputation for his contemporary metalwork and has exhibited across the globe in the USA, Beijing- China, Finland, Denmark, Netherlands and Germany. His work is in a number of museums and private collections to include The V&A Museum, Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, National Museum of Wales, Harborough Museum and The Kamm Teapot foundation in North Carolina. Rajesh became a freeman of the Goldsmiths' Company in 2013 and he continues to contribute towards the furtherance of innovative design and critical thinking in contemporary silversmithing through his practice. Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:
Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
