DUARTE NUNES DE LEÃO - 1530-1608, Chronica dos Reys de Portugal, Second Edition, including the Chronicles of count D. Henrique, Kings D. Afonso Henriques, D. Sancho I, D. Afonso II, D. Sancho II, D. Afonso III, D. Dinis I, D. Afonso IV, D. Pedro I and D. Fernando I. The first edition dates from 1600 (Lisbon, Pedro Crasbeeck), and the Chronicle of King D. João I, which is not included in the present Edition, were printed in 1643 (Lisbon, António Álvares). Copy slightly trimmed, with slight acidity and handling; bookworm cut on the top margin of the last 50 leaves; scratched manuscript possession mark (and small label) on the title page and occasional underlining of the time.
