A pair of octagonal plates, Chinese export porcelain, polychrome and gilt decoration "Peacocks", Qianlong period (1736-1795), small chips, wear on decoration. Notes: decoration identical to one of the tableware that belonged to King D. José I of Portugal and that King D. João VI of Portugal took to Brazil, which was located at the Real Fazenda de Santa Cruz, Rio de Janeiro - vd. CASTRO, Nuno de - "A Porcelana Chinesa ao Tempo do Império - Portugal/Brasil".
