Accompanied by an authentication document, signed by António Montês and dated 1946, where the following can be read: "Study for the oil painting "Basta meu Pai!" (0.71 x 0.55), painted in 1910 by Master José Malhoa. The subject portrayed is Jerónimo Godinho, from the town of Telhada, in the municipality of Figueiró dos Vinhos - a favorite model of Master Malhoa who appears in famous paintings. in the National Museum of Contemporary Art, he also served as a model for the paintings "A Compra do Voto" ( 1905), "O Azite Novo" (1905), "Acendendo o Cigarro" (1915), and also for the altarpiece "Batísmo de Cristo" in the Church of Figueiró dos Vinhos. This study, which is not signed, belonged to the collection of Master Malhoa, having been offered by the painter's sister, Mrs. Maria José Malhoa e Silva, to the signatory, who will authenticate it.", Dim. - 27,5 x 30,5 cm
