Splendid Crucifix In Silver is Bronze, Probably Papal State 17TH CENTURYwith engraved with wooden shaft the silver to vegetal motifs. Christ and endings in chiseled ormolu to small scrolls, lilies and heads of cherubs, of refined person chisel. Wooden base dressed again in velvet. Engraving and dating 'DRSR 1629' at the bottom, initials 'AGP', on the backside of the cross at the bottom. Measures cross, cm. 54 x 40. PROVENANCERoman familySPLENDIDO CROCIFISSO IN ARGENTO E BRONZO, PROBABILMENTE STATO PONTIFICIO XVII SECOLOcon fusto ligneo inciso all'argento a motivi vegetali. Cristo e finali in bronzo dorato e cesellato a piccole volute, gigli e teste di cherubini, di raffinato cesello. Base lignea rivestita in velluto. Incisione e datazione 'DRSR 1629' in basso, iniziali 'AGP', al retro della croce in basso. Misure croce, cm. 54 x 40. PROVENIENZAFamiglia romana
