Carnelian, diamond and sapphire pendant by Cartier
Length including eyelets: ca. 9 cm. Width: ca. 4 cm. Weight: ca. 39.5 g. Yellow gold and platinum. Signed ''Mtd Cartier''. Ca. 1930. Highly decorative, exceptional brooch or pendant with central, large flat cabochon-cut sun carnelian (with closed gilt-foiled back), ca. 3.8 cm x ca. 2 cm, with a surround of fine cornflower blue oval- and drop-shaped facetted sapphires, altogether ca. 6.10 ct, and old-cut diamonds, altogether ca. 4.10 ct. Can be worn either as a pendant or a brooch. In original Cartier case.
