Tafelaufsatz mit großer Malachitschale Höhe: 34 cm. Durchmesser: 35 cm. 19. Jahrhundert. Der Fuß figürlich gearbeitet in Bronze, vergoldet, im Barock-Stil, in Form zweier Knaben mit Unterleib in Form von Akanthusblättern, die sich nach hinten zu Voluten einschwingen, die Arme, in Art von Karyatiden hochgenommen, tragen den Rundfuß der Schale. Zwischen den Figuren mittig auf dem Sockel hochziehender Rokoko-Nodus, der Sockel nahezu auf rautenförmigem Grundriss, geschweift, mit floralen Füßen in Form von Rocailleblättern. Die weite Schale an den Rändern hochziehend, aus Malachitgestein, kunstvoll mit zentraler hellerer Äderungsmusterung gefertigt. (1070244)Centrepiece with large malachite bowlHeight: 34 cm. Gilt-bronze Baroque-style foot decorated with the figures of two boys, their lower bodies shaped as acanthus leaves curling backwards into volutes while their arms are lifted up in the style of caryatides supporting the round foot of the bowl. At the centre, between the two figures, a Rococo shaft with nodes, its curved base almost a rhombic shape with rocaille leaf shaped feet. The malachite bowl is elaborately crafted and is lighter veined at the centre.
