Henri Gascar, (auch Gascard) 1635 Paris - 1701 Rom Sohn des Malers Pierre Gascar, kam 1674 nach England auf Einladung der Louise de Keroualle, Duchess of Portsmouth, der Favoritin König Charles II. Am englischen Hof schuf er mehrere Portraits von denen etliche durch Peter Vanderbank in Kupfer gestochen wurden.
