Ein Paar Luxus-Perkussionspistolen, Lebeda in Prag um 1840/50 Original gebläute, achtkantige Läufe mit versetzter Gratung und feiner Kannelierung. Gezogene Seelen im Kaliber 13 mm. Eingeschobene, fein gravierte Kimmen. Auf den Laufoberseiten fein in Gold eingelegte Signatur "A.V. Lebeda - v Praze", dahinter Nummerierung "1" bzw. "2". Die Laufansätze mit goldeingelegten Arabesken dekoriert. Fein geschnittene, grau gehärtete und goldeingelegte Pistonsockel, platingefütterte Zündlöcher. Schwanzschraubenblätter mit justierbarer Kimme und wiederholter Nummerierung. Ganzflächig fein geschnittene und goldeingelegte Schlösser mit antikisierenden Figuren zwischen Blattranken. Wiederholte Signatur und Nummerierung. Abzüge mit Stecher. Reich verschnittene Schäfte aus Ebenholz mit kannelierten Kolben. Der Schaft von Nr. 1 am Kolbenansatz gerade gebrochen. Grau gehärtete Garnituren mit goldeingelegtem, geschnittenem Dekor. Gebläute Knaufabschlussknöpfe. Dabei zugehörige Lade- und Putzstöcke aus Ebenholz mit fein geschnitzten Knäufen aus Elfenbein. Länge der Pistolen je 39 cm.Anton Vinzent Lebeda (1797 - 1857) war ab 1822 in Prag als Büchsenmachermeister tätig und ab 1852 Hoflieferant.Extrem hochwertiges Pistolenpaar in hervorragender unberührter Erhaltung. Rifled bores in 13 mm calibre. Dovetailed, finely engraved rear sights. The signature "A.V. Lebeda - v Praze" intricately inlaid in gold on the upper sides of the barrels, followed by the numbers "1" and "2". The roots of the barrels embellished with gold-inlaid arabesques. The grey case-hardened snails finely chiselled and inlaid with gold, the vent holes lined with platinum. The tangs with adjustable rear sight and repeated numbering. The entire surface of the gold-inlaid locks covered in fine chiselling work, with antique-style figures amidst leafy vines. The same signature and numbering once again. Set triggers. The lavishly carved stocks made of ebony with fluted butts. The stock of pistol no. 1 broken off in a straight line at the root of the butt. The grey case-hardened furniture with gold-inlaid, chiselled decoration. Blued button finials on the butt. Comes with the matching ebony ramrod and cleaning rods, the pommels intricately carved in ivory. Length of each pistol 39 cm.As a master gun maker in Prague from 1822, Anton Vinzent Lebeda (1797 - 1857) was appointed purveyor to the royal court in 1852.A superbly crafted pair of pistols in outstanding, untouched condition.
