Buddhistische Holzfigur, China, 16./17. Jhdt. Einteilig gearbeitete, dreiviertelplastische Figur eines sitzenden Bodhisattva, der Lotosthron auf einem Stier ruhend. Reste farbiger Fassung. Die Rückseite teilweise ausgehöhlt. Zwei Finger der linken Hand abgebrochen, die Fragmente liegen bei. Stellenweise bestoßen. Die Rückseite stark verwurmt, Teile des Hinterkopfes verloren. Höhe 97 cm. Zustand: III - A Chinese wooden Buddhist figure, 16th/17th century Figure of a seated Bodhisattva in three-quarter relief made of one piece, the lotus throne resting on a bull. Remnants of colouring. The reverse partly hollowed. Two fingers of the left hand broken off, the fragments are enclosed. Partly knocked. The reverse heavily worm-eaten, parts of the back of the head lost. Height 97 cm. Condition: III -
