Five further silver frames with CDV photographs of King Ludwig I (1786 - 1868), King Maximilian II (1811 - 1864), Prince Karl (1795 - 1875), Duke Karl Theodor (1839 - 1909), brother of the Empress of Austria, and Prince Regent Luitpold (1821 - 1912). Two large-format CDV photographs (approx. 23 x 14 cm), Ludwig Ferdinand of Bavaria and Duke Siegfried of Bavaria (1876 - 1952), each with hand-written dedication.Most of the photographs with hand-written dedication or inscription on the reverse, in various states of preservation, mainly good to excellent. Different studio stamps and dates. All frames with mark of fineness "800" or "835" and other silver hallmarks, respectively (crown, crescent moon, maker), mostly standing frames with fine patina.Beautiful collection documenting kings and heirs to the throne of the Bavarian House of Wittelsbach.
