Ein Paar Silberarmreife, illyrisch, 1. Jhdt. v. - 1. Jhdt. n. Chr. Spangen aus dickem Silberblech, auf der Oberseite dachgiebelförmig nach links und rechts zu großer Platte erweitert. Diese durch getriebene Kanten mit Kerbzier profiliert und in drei Abschnitte gegliedert. Ränder der Giebel" und mittlerer Abschnitt durch mit Punzreihen verbundene Kreisaugen verziert. An den Seiten Drahtumwicklung, dahinter nochmals Dekor aus Punzlinien und Kreisaugen. Ein Exemplar an den Enden gelocht. Perfekt erhaltene Schmuckstücke der eisenzeitlichen Bevölkerung der illyrischen Provinzen kurz vor oder nach der römischen Eroberung. Breite der Zierplatten 5 bzw. 6,3 cm. Maximaler Durchmesser der Spangen 6 bzw. 6,3 cm. Gewicht 27,87 und 31,51 g. Wiener Privatsammlung, erworben in den 1990er Jahren im Kunsthandel."Zustand: II A pair of silver armlets, Illyrian, 1st century BC - 1st century AD The main bars forged of thick sheet silver, extending on the top and bottom into a large, triangular panel. These panels divided into three sections, with hammered borders and contoured with notched ornaments. The edges of the triangular panels and central section embellished with concentric circles connected by rows of punched dots. The sides wrapped with wire winding, followed by further concentric circles and punched lines. One armlet perforated at both ends. Perfectly preserved items of jewellery dating from the Iron Age population of the province of Illyria shortly prior to or following the Roman conquest. Width of the decorative panels 5 and 6.3 cm respectively. Maximum diameter of the armlets 6 and 6.3 cm respectively. Weight 27.87 g and 31.51 g respectively.
