Klasse mit Eichenlaub In zweifarbigem Gold gefertigte Brustdekoration mit horizontaler Öse und hohl verbödetem Eichenlaub ebenfalls (trotz Oxidation) aus Gold. Die Kreuzarme der Rückseite in Rotgold ausgeführt, die Voluten graviert. Aufgrund der frühen Ösenaufhängung und der Medaillonmalerei ist das Stück dem Karlsruher Hersteller (1858 - ca. 1877) Joseph Zuber zuzuordnen und ist mit einer Gesamtverleihungszahl von 1766 Exemplaren und meist eingehaltener Rücklieferungspflicht selten. Zustand: I - Order of the Zähringer Lion - a Knight's Cross 1st Class with Oak Leaves Breast decoration wrought in two-colour gold, with a horizontal loop and hollow-cast oak wreath also in gold (despite oxidation). The cross arms on the back worked in red gold, the volutes engraved. On the basis of the early suspension loop and the painting on the medallion, this piece may be attributed to the manufacturer Joseph Zuber (1858 - circa 1877) of Karlsruhe.
