Klasse mit Stern und mit Schwertern Feinst in Gold gefertigtes Halskreuz der Hofkunstanstalt Jacob Leser in Straubing mit einfach verschraubten Schwertern aus zweifarbigem Gold und der Feingehaltsangabe "750" in der Öse für 18-karätiges Gold. Im Bandring die Herstellerbezeichnung "JACOB LESER" und die Goldpunze "585". Die matt gehaltenen Flammen, wie bei Stücken von Leser üblich, leicht rötlich oxidiert. Prachtexemplar in bester, tiefblauer Emaillekunst ausgeführt. Breite 54,7 mm. Gewicht 28,8 g. Dazu der achtstrahlige, in Silber gefertigte Bruststern mit rückseitigem Herstellersignet von Leser, an "900"-punzierter Nadel. Die Auflagen in Gold, verschraubt und fein emailliert. Die zweifarbig in Gold gefertigten Schwerter zentral verschraubt und, wie bei Leser üblich, der Sternwölbung angepasst und zusätzlich mit Haltestiften (in den Griffen) im Sternkörper fixiert. Breite 76 mm. Gewicht 58,4 g. Zusammen mit zwei Halsbandabschnitten im blauen Doppel-Verleihungsetui (Hemmerle Signet, kleine Kratzer) mit Silberdruck "Bayr. M. V. O. 2. Kl. m. St.". Dieses Set des Bayerischen Militär Verdienst-Ordens wurde dem "Kaiserl. Vizeadmiral z.D." am 16. Januar 1916 verliehen. The manufacturer's mark "JACOB LESER" and the hallmark "585" stamped in the suspension ring. As is customary with items by Leser, the flames have a matt finish and are slightly red due to oxidisation. A magnificent example of outstanding workmanship in dark blue enamel. Width 54.7 mm. Weight 28.8 g. Comes with the eight-rayed breast star, worked in silver with the manufacturer's signet for Leser on the reverse, the attachment pin marked "900". The gold appliqués in fine enamel and fixed with screws. The bicolour gold swords screwed through the centre and, as is customary for Leser, adjusted to fit the curvature of the star, where they are attached with additional fastening pins (in the grips). Width 76 mm. Weight 58.4 g. Also, two sections of neck ribbon in the blue double presentation case (Hemmerle signet, minor scratches), embossed in silver "Bayr. M. V. O. 2. Kl. m. St.".
