Preußischer Soldat im Marsch, Lineol, 18 cm-AusführungPreußischer Soldat im Marsch mit Gewehr und Tornister, Lineol, 18 cm-Serie, 20er Jahre, Masseausführung, eine sehr frühe Figur aus der Hand von Albert Caasmann, seit ca. 1909 Modellierer bei Oskar Wiederholz/Lineol AG. Die 18 cm-Figuren wurden von Lineol etwa 1910 vorgestellt und waren um 1928 nochmals im Lineol-Bilderbuch abgebildet. Sie wurden jedoch früh von der neuen 14 cm- und 9 cm-Serie abgelöst, waren somit kein Verkaufsschlager, was sich in ihrer großen Seltenheit widerspiegelt. Interessanterweise sind von Lineol nur im 18 cm Bereich zwei Figuren mit ovalem Sockel bekannt (Lineol fertigte sonst ausschließlich rechteckige Sockel): ein Offizier, Degen gezogen im Marsch und dieser Marschierer mit Gewehr. Die hier angebotene Figur ist in einem schönen, unberührten Zustand mit leichten Altersspuren und stellt eine ausgesprochene Rarität im Figurenbereich dar. Im Sockel mit Lineol-Schutzmarke gestempelt. Extrem selten. A very early figure created by Albert Caasmann who was a modeller with Oskar Wiederholz/Lineol AG as from about 1909. The 18 cm figures were presented by Lionel around 1910 and were again illustrated in the Lineol picture book in circa 1928. Soon, however, they were replaced by the new 14 cm and 9 cm series which made them no bestselling article. This is reflected through their present rarity. Interestingly enough there are only two known figures by Lineol with oval base in the 18 cm series (apart from these Lineol manufactured solely rectangular bases): an officer, sword in hand, and this marching soldier with rifle. The figure on offer is in a fine, untouched condition with light signs of age and is an exceptional rarity in the world of figures. Stamped Lineol trademark on the base. Extremely rare.
