Stark profilierte Doppelaxt, Bronzezeit Südosteuropas, 14. - 10. Jhdt. v. Chr. Zeremonialaxt mit zwei fingerbreiten Riefen auf jeder Seite, die begrenzenden Rippen mit Kerben verziert. Ober- und Unterseite leicht dachförmig mit Mittelrippe und geometrischer Ritzverzierung. Zentrale Bohrung geht unten in kurze Tülle über. Äußerst seltener Ritualgegenstand. Schöne dunkelgrüne Patina. Länge 14 cm. Wiener Privatsammlung, erworben in den 1990er Jahren im Kunsthandel.Zustand: II A South East European, strongly contoured Bronze Age double axe, 14th - 10th century BC Ceremonial axe with two grooves, each the breadth of a finger, on both sides, the bordering ridges decorated with notches. Upper and lower sides slightly curved in a roof shape with a medial rib and ornamental geometric incisions. The central bore hole descends into a short socket at the bottom.
