Ortband aus Gold mit Tierdarstellung, skythisch, 5. - 4. Jhdt. v. Chr. Ortband mit rundem Ende und geradem oberen Abschluss aus Goldblech mit Darstellung im Tierstil. Raubkatzenkopf(?) mit überlangem Hals und geöffnetem Maul. Am runden Abschluss außen die Ansätze der Oberschenkel, die ober- und unterhalb des Halses zurückgeführt werden. Die nach innen gewandten Pranken flankieren den Tierkopf. In quasi kubistischer" Manier zerlegte Tierdarstellung, die verschiedene Perspektiven in einem Bildnis vereint. Interessantes Dokument steppennomadischer Kunstauffassung. Beide Enden mit Rissen im Blech, die Tierdarstellung davon unbeeinträchtigt. Länge 5,8 cm. Gewicht 13,48 g. Dazu ein kleiner Goldblechbuckel. Durchmesser 9,5 mm, Gewicht 0,37 g. Chape with round bottom and straight top of gold sheet with depictions of animals. Feline head(?) with extra long neck and open mouth. On the outside of the round bottom indicated thighs which extend and return above and below the neck. The animal design is deconstructed in an almost cubist" fashion, the various perspectives united in one image. Interesting example of the creative expression of steppe nomads. The sheet ripped on both ends, the design not affected thereby. Length 5.8 cm, weight 13.48 g. Comes with a small boss of gold sheet. Diameter 9.5 mm, weight 0.37 g.
