The photo bears the blind stamp mark, Tonka of Zagreb, famous female photographer of the Yugoslavian royal court, and Hollywood celebrities. Inscribed to Charles Sherril (1867 - 1936), then US ambassador to Turkey. Housed under glass in a Garrard & CO. London silver frame with an inset enamel royal coat-of-arms at the top. The toned frame measures 27 x 36cm with a red leatherette covered backing (scuffing) and hinged stand (damaged). Missing one of two silver securing levers on reverse.
