Mustersäbel der Firma Carl Eickhorn Solingen für die Republik Lettland um 1938 Leicht gekrümmte Steckrückenklinge aus feinstem, kunstvoll gemustertem Damaststahl, sogenannte "große Rosen". An der Fehlschärfe quartseitig das große gebläute und vergoldete Firmenwappen "Carl Eickhorn Solingen". Die Bügel und Griffbeschläge des Gefäßes aus feuervergoldetem Messing, per Hand im Barockstil graviert und punziert, an einem Griffbügel das farbig emaillierte Staatswappen der Republik Lettland (minimale unauffällige Fehlstellen am Rand). Die Hilze aus massiven Kirschholz gedrechselt und poliert. Sehr schöner altersgemäßer Erhaltungszustand. Gesamtlänge 98 cm. Es handelt sich um einen der berühmten Mustersäbel, welche von der Firma Carl Eickhorn zu Ausstellungszwecken hergestellt wurden. Ein Meisterwerk der Solinger Damastschmiede und Schwertfeger.
