Luftwaffe Flying Units Flag Bearer's Sleeve Shield Hand-embroidered, fine quality, yellow, black and white woollen threading in the flags, with touches of red, white and black wool in the ribbons at the top of the flagpole and silver bullion insignias on both flags, the tassels on the ribbons, the eagles at the top of the flagpoles, the fasteners and bands on the flagpole, all on a blue-grey woollen base, reverse backed with a blue/black paper, maker marked "H & S" printed in white. Appears to have been removed from uniform. Dimensions 85 x 123 mm.
