Auf dem Vorsatzblatt handschriftliche Widmung von Gustavus Town Kirby, ehemaliger Präsident des Olympischen Komitees der USA "With my compliments and recognition of the inspiring leadership of the Führer and his Stellvertreter Hess - Gustavus Town Kirby - August 14th 1936", außerdem vierzeilige Widmung von Dr. Robert Ley, der zusammen mit dem KdF die Organisation des Kongresses übernommen hatte. Vertreten sind im Buch Bulgarien, Belgien, Dänemark, England, Frankreich (11 verschiedene Regionen), Griechenland, Holland (3 Regionen), Irland, Italien, Norwegen (3x), Polen, Rumänien, Schweden, Schweiz, Ungarn, deutsche Gruppen aus Rumänien und Jugoslawien, Kärnten und Luxemburg. Büttenpapier, die Landesfarben in Handmalerei, sehr viele Widmungen und Unterschriften. Roter bibliophiler Ledereinband mit Goldprägung, die künstlerische Gestaltung von Paul Sabban, Hamburg. Maße 32 x 24 x 3 cm. Das Ehrenpräsidium des Kongresses bestand aus Kirby, Ley, Goebbels, Comte de Baillet-Latour, Frick, Frank, Göring, Darré, von Ribbentrop, Seldte, Rust, Bohle, Bürckel, Mutschmann, Sauckel, von Schirach. Teilweise sollen bis zu 1,5 Millionen Menschen, darunter 800.000 aus dem Ausland, den Feierlichkeiten beigewohnt haben. Die Kosten betrugen über zwei Millionen Reichsmark, eine ungeheure Summe. Die Veranstaltung war eine große internationale Werbung für das nationalsozialistische Deutschland. The album contains contributions from Bulgaria, Belgium, Denmark, England, France (11 different regions), Greece, Holland (3 regions), Ireland, Italy, Norway (3 times), Poland, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, Hungary, German groups from Romania and Yugoslavia, Carinthia and Luxembourg. The Congress Committee of Honour consisted of Kirby, Ley, Goebbels, Count de Baillet-Latour, Frick, Frank, Göring, Darré, von Ribbentrop, Seldte, Rust, Bohle, Bürckel, Mutschmann, Sauckel, von Schirach. The festivities were reportedly attended by up to 1.5 million people, among them 800,000 from abroad. The costs amounted to more than two million Reichsmarks, an immense sum.
