Spathaklinge, Späte Latènezeit oder Frühe Römische Kaiserzeit, 1. Jhdt. v. Chr. Seltene Sonderform einer Schwertklinge mit Verbreiterung der 80 cm langen Klinge zu Beginn des unteren Drittels, das in einer ausgesprochen langen und schmalen Spitze endet. Deutlicher Mittelgrat. 15,5 cm lange Griffangel mit Abschlussknopf. Spätkeltisches Schwert, dass auch in der Armee der Frühen Kaiserzeit Verwendung gefunden hat. Gut erhaltene Eisensubstanz mit geringfügigen Fehlstellen durch Korrosion, fachmännisch restauriert und stabilisiert. Gesamtlänge 95,5 cm. A rare special sword blade, the 80 cm blade broadens at the beginning of the lower third, terminating in an exceptionally long, narrow point. Pronounced medial ridge. The grip tang 15.5 cm long, with a button finial. Late celtic sword type, that has been also used in the early Roman Imperial Army. The iron substance well preserved with minor defects due to corrosion, professionally restored and stabilised. Total length 95.5 cm.
