Bronzene Trense, Luristan, 10. - 8. Jhdt. v. Chr. Trense mit vierkantiger Gebissstange, an den Enden flach ausgehämmert und eingerollt, links und rechts in anderer Orientierung. Die Knebel als Scheiben in figürlicher Gestalt gearbeitet. Spiegelbildlich das gleiche mythische Mischwesen: "Geflügelter Kentaur" mit Menschengesicht und Stiergehörn. Auf der Innenseite je zwei Schlaufen und zwei Dorne zur Befestigung von funktionalem Zubehör aus organischem Material. Bis auf kleinen Gussfehler an einem Bein der Figur des rechten Knebels vollständig. Stange mit rotbrauner Oxydschicht, die ähnlich stellenweise auf den Knebeln ebenso zu sehen ist. Dort darüber großflächig grüne Oxydschicht mit leichten Inkrustationen. Länge der Stange 22,5 cm. Höhe 13 cm. Reizvolles Exemplar der fantasievollen Bronzekunst der frühen Eisenzeit im Iran. Complete apart from a small casting defect on the leg of the figure on the right-hand cheek bar. The bit with a reddish brown oxide coating, similar to that also visible in places on the cheek bars.
