In the publishing of the calico cover. Faded binding, foxing.The collection was released on the occasion of the death of Emperor Alexander III. It contains memoirs of contemporaries, notes on the results of the board, bulletins about the state of the emperor’s health, responses of Russian and foreign newspapers, words of memory.Император Александр III: [Сборник воспоминаний, стихотворений, статей]. СПб.: тип. кн. В.П. Мещерского, 1894. - 634 с., 17 л. ил.; 21,5х15 см. Многочисленные иллюстрации на отдельных листах. В издательском коленкоровом переплёте. Потёртости переплёта, временные пятна в блоке. Сборник выпущен по случаю кончины императора Александра III. Содержит воспоминания современников, заметки об итогах правления, бюллетени о состоянии здоровья императора, отклики русских и зарубежных газет, слова памяти. Издатель сборника - князь В.П. Мещерский (1839–1914), видный журналист и политический деятель, в течение ряда лет был другом и доверенным лицом императора Александра III. Редкость.
